2018 MTV Europe Music Awards

The MTV Europe Music Awards originally began as an alternative to the American MTV Video Music Awards, honoring the best European music videos from the previous year. The EMA is an award presented by the MTV cable channel to honor the best in music videos with viewers picking the awards. The awards show is presented in a different European host city each year and broadcast live on MTV Europe as well as most MTV channels internationally. Past EMAs have been held in London, Belfast and Liverpool.
