San Diego Comic Con
Held every summer in San Diego, Comic-Con International is not just an event, it’s an all-absorbing experience. No longer relegated to a mere comic book convention, Comic-Con is a unique celebration of pop culture where fans and stars converge on the San Diego Convention Center to discuss, applaud and discover fandom and passion. Its famed Hall H houses sneak peaks and panel discussions for the upcoming super hero, sci-fi and blockbuster movies, usually with the stars and filmmakers in attendance to answer fans’ questions. It also hosts countless after-hours parties and events in and around the Gaslamp District of San Diego, filling the streets with aliens, super heroes, villains and pop culture enthusiasts from every walk of life.
The broadcast of the Golden Globe Awards, telecast to 167 countries worldwide, generally ranks as the third most-watched awards show each year, behind only the Oscars and the Grammy Awards. Until Ricky Gervais hosted the 67th annual Golden Globe Awards Ceremony in 2010, the award ceremony was one of two major Hollywood award ceremonies (the other being the Screen Actors Guild Awards) that did not have a regular host; every year a different presenter introduced the ceremony at the beginning of the broadcast. Gervais returned to host the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards in 2011 and has now hosted the show four times. The 75th Golden Globes show will welcome some of the most influential individuals that the film industry has to offer. With hundreds of celebrities expected from around the world, this is one event not to be missed, and One Concierge is proud to offer a host of concierge and lifestyle management solutions for those attending the Golden Globe Awards.
